In August 2024, Polishing the Pulpit (PTP) celebrated
30 years of helping preachers, elders, deacons, ladies,
and every church member. With over 4,500 people in
attendance, PTP is a wonderful, uplifting experience
with over 150 speakers and 500 lessons. The keynote
presentations focused on messages from songs of
worship: “The Old Rugged Cross,” “Sing to Me of
Heaven,” “God’s Family,” “Sing and Be Happy,” “Our God
He is Alive,” “You Never Mentioned Him to Me,” “Come,
Let Us Worship and Bow Down,” “Can He Still Feel the
Nails?,” “Blessed Assurance,” “Just As I Am,” “Get Right
Church and Let’s Go Home,” and “How Deep the Fathers
Love For Us.” This book is that material reworked into
chapters for class study, with a link to the audio of the
original lessons inside. If you have never been to PTP
